Zaria Clemmons is a San Francisco native and a certified DEI practitioner. She is a first-generation college graduate with seven years of experience in employee engagement and social impact. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business management and minored in French business administration at Agnes Scott College. She has led equity-centered initiatives across major organizations, including Meta, Mercedes-Benz, and Kendo, where she currently drives inclusive workforce strategies and culture-building programs. She currently serves as a DEI manager at Kendo Brands, advancing organizational belonging, equitable talent, product development, and community engagement. Passionate about cultivating the next generation of minority leaders in tech, she has previously served on the CodeHouse team, supporting early college and career pathways for students of color through connections with HBCUs and top tech companies. As a ScholarMatch alum, Zaria is excited to start this new chapter as a ScholarMatch board member, where her skills and expertise, alongside her deep commitment to expanding educational access and social mobility, will help create more opportunities for first-generation students.
