MEET 

Shevann Steuben

A proud ScholarMatch alum, Shevann Steuben is a dynamic leader and education champion dedicated to paying it forward. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communication Studies from Baylor University and is pursuing her MBA at Hampton University. She is currently a management consultant at a global tech enablement consulting firm and founder of B RARE Consulting, specializing in change management and organizational effectiveness.​ Shevann dedicates her time to the NAACP National Board of Directors as vice president at both the Houston Branch and Texas State Conference. Named State Advisor of the Year in 2024 and 2025, she has represented the NAACP in speaking engagements, including with Vice President Kamala Harris. She also serves on the Generation Vote National C4 Board and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. ​In 2025, Shevann was crowned Miss Black International Ambassador, where she champions her platform, Yet To Be, an initiative inspired by Maya Angelou that empowers young people to lead and create advocacy campaigns focused on equity and justice.
